We are hiring an experienced Quality Inspector to join the team at a manufacturing facility in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Pay starts at $21.00 per hour, operating on 3rd shift 11:00pm-7:00am. Employees are eligible to enroll in our Medical, Dental, Vision, and other benefit plans after 60 days of employment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED/equivalent
- Prior quality and/or laboratory experience
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Moves items weighing up to 50 pounds
The Quality Inspector performs all incoming and outgoing quality inspections on products and materials, using a variety of tools and instruments located in the lab testing area. The Quality Inspector is responsible for complete and accurate documentation and record keeping of all test results. As a Quality Inspector, you will also assist with quality/conformity audits associated with UL and customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Lab Testing
- Sample preparation using wire cutters, wire strippers, etc.
- Use of microscope for dimensional measurements
- Use of tensile tester for physical properties and other custom tests
- Use of micrometers and calipers
- Documentation
- Preparing all test sheets and quality certificates
- Filing and maintaining all test sheets
- Retaining samples for customers
- Technical/Engineering Related
- Dealing with quality issues
- Involvement with equipment calibrations
