What Is This Job All About?
- Providing leadership in the development of equitable and evidence-based quality of care identifying opportunities and strategies for clinical performance improvement.
- Directing and coordinating Quality centered accreditation, policy, and regulatory affairs initiatives.
- Providing overall direction necessary to ensure that clinical services are provided in accordance with standards established through state and federal regulations including the National Committee of Quality Assurance.
- Completing annual PCMH accreditation reports.
- Completing annual UDS yearly application.
- Direct oversight of state and federal grants
- Preparing reports and assesses compliance with accreditation standards and regulations related to clinical care outcomes in collaboration with leadership and staff.
- Identifying areas of vulnerability and directing the development of strategies to enhance compliance through PDSA cycles
- Assisting in the development, monitoring, and presentation of quality measures and initiative of payor contracts ex., TennCare-Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial contracts.
- Coordinating tracking and reporting of clinical and utilization outcomes,
- Focusing on improving outcomes by encouraging innovation; demonstrating the ability to anticipate obstacles and develop plans to overcome them.
- Demonstrating the ability to maintain high levels of customer and staff satisfaction by meeting organizational expectations; building and maintaining positive relationships with clinical staff and colleagues; interacting with all team members in a polite, friendly, and courteous manner; actively listens to assess staff needs; promotes a positive public image for the organization.
What We Need from You:
- Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Three years minimum of administrative leadership experience in Quality Improvement activities in an FQHC is preferred.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines required of him/her and of the departments he/she manages. This includes the ability to work toward multiple goals concurrently and set priorities according to schedules and guidelines
- Ability to express ideas effectively face-to-face, as well as in writing, in individual and group situations, adjusting language and terminology to the needs of the audience, and the ability to synthesize information received verbally and in writing.
- Outstanding skills in data collection, analysis, and presentation. Experience in the use of Excel for QI-related data management dashboard; Tableau.
