Job DescriptionThe co-op/intern will assist the Quality Engineering Team with creating clear and detailed procedure documents for usage by production technicians, helping engineers with identifying the root-cause of an issue while also being able to develop robust solutions to prevent recurrence. Assist engineers with identifying inefficiencies in production processes and be able to propose & implement solutions that will lead to improvements. Available blocks include the spring and/or summer semesters.
QualificationsPosition Overview
The position will report into and support the Quality Engineering Team. In this role the main responsibilities will be:
- Work with Cross Functional Teams to help solve production quality issues.
- Assist with troubleshooting and failure isolation.
- Implement and update manufacturing process documents.
- Assist with returning failed products to suppliers through our RTV process.
- Participate in data collection failure analysis studies.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology or Chemical Engineering

- Strong Organizational Skills
- Python programming
- Statistical analysis tools
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Passion for Manufacturing Engineering Process
- Previous Co-Op/Internship Experience or Previous Work Experience
Additional Information
For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $26.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
