Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer within our Quality Inspection team located at Port Manatee facility.
This position reports to the Quality Manager and provides quality assurance support at the Port Manatee manufacturing facility.
Incumbent will analyze processes, work operations, concessions, exceptions, waivers, records, and customer complaints.

Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer within our Quality Inspection team located at Port Manatee facility.
This position reports to the Quality Manager and provides quality assurance support at the Port Manatee manufacturing facility.
Incumbent will analyze processes, work operations, concessions, exceptions, waivers, records, and customer complaints.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Assist in day-to-day management of the Quality Assurance Program including ISO9001 Quality Management System (procedures and manual), ASME Quality Control Manual and Chinese Manufacturing License Quality Manual.
- Assist the Quality Manager in maintaining the ISO9001:2015 certificate, ASME certificate, National Board certificate and the Chinese Manufacturing License certificate.
- Assist the Quality Manager in managing the nonconformance process and assist process owners in determining improvements needed and recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain quality key performance indicator's (KPI's), track trends and work with process owners to reduce the effect of non-conformances.
- Manage the electronic management of change process.
- Manage audit team by scheduling and monitoring internal quality audits related to ISO9001 certification.
- Act as Lead Auditor and provide training as needed to strengthen audit team skills.
- Work with process owners to mitigate risks identified through the internal audit process.
- Support Materials Department by assisting in supplier assessments as needed.
Education and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering or other technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience with Quality Assurance or Quality Control responsibilities, including knowledge of manufacturing processes, methods, equipment, and systems.
- Experience in ISO9001 standard, Internal Auditing, ASME Pressure Code, Welding and NDT techniques, Microsoft Excel and Access data base knowledge.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, collaboration and influencing skills.
- Strong technical writing skill.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude with demonstrated courage and initiative to lead change.
