Do you want to work in production quality environment supporting the Material Review Board? Do you enjoy working closely with a variety of functions such as Incoming Inspection, Engineering, Quality & Operations to support the documentation, investigation, and processing of rejected materials in an accurate and timely manner? We are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for documenting and processing rejected material.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Enter rejected parts into the database
- Electronically transfer the rejected material out of productive inventory to ensure inventory is accurate
- Conduct a physical inventory of rejected parts and document in a system log for completion
- Unpack, handle and re-package parts
- Provide status updates to appropriate parties
The required qualifications for the job include:
- High School diploma or GED with 4-6 years of related work experience - Associates Degree a plus
- Basic math and computer skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with small intricate parts to large parts on pallets and lift up to 50 lbs.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience working with Oracle
- Read blueprints and use basic inspection equipment such as calipers and hand gages
