What will you do as aQuality Control Technician?
The Quality Control Technician collects samples and performs accurate Quality Control testing to ensure product quality. Provides verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner. This position is on-site.

Core Resposbilities are:
- Conducting inspection activities for incoming and outgoing materials in the income/outgoing and IPQC.
- Conducting climate control inspections in the raw material warehouse.
- Performing packaging and packaging inspections in the raw material warehouse.
- Monitoring FIFO (First In First Out) control in the raw material warehouse.
- Performing compliance checks on raw materials provided to production with the work order.
- Conducting raw material inspections based on sampling methods according to standards.
- Providing acceptance/scrap approval for suspicious raw materials and reporting the results.
- Arranging the shipment of rejected materials to the scrap area.
- Arranging the shipment of accepted materials to the warehouse.
- Investigating customer complaints and issues with returned panels.
- Conducting OQC (Outgoing Quality Control) activities:
- Providing approval for incoming raw materials according to specifications and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of measurement results.
- Checking the compliance of raw materials with the dimensions and tolerances specified in the technical drawings.
- Performing routine laboratory tests and monitoring their progress.
- Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly tests.
- Handling necessary processes related to suspicious raw materials removed from production.
- Providing acceptance/scrap approval and ensuring the reporting of suspicious raw materials removed from production.
- Arranging the transportation of scraps to the scrap area when a red decision is made.
- Controlling the transportation of accepted raw materials to the warehouse.
- Managing the preparation and testing of samples related to Research & Development (R&D) or new suppliers.
- Investigating and analyzing customer complaints.
- Examining the issues with returned panels.
- Performing exit Quality Control activities.
- Conducting physical inspections of packages before shipment.
- Checking the class and power values of panels to be shipped.
- Conducting physical inspections of panels by taking samples from the shipment batch.
- Verifying the documents of the vehicle that will carry the packages.
- Generating exit quality and shipment reports and informing the immediate supervisor.
- Keeping data entries up-to-date and complete at each stage of the responsible processes.
- Keeping up-to-date with new methods and developments in their area of expertise and sharing the ones that can benefit ELIN ENERGY LLC with their supervisor and team to contribute to the team's development.
- Timely and complete fulfillment of feedback, reporting, and informing expectations from their superiors.
- Performing other tasks assigned by their superior that are required within the scope of similar job profiles.
- Executing work activities in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of Windows based operations and programs, knowledge of Excel and how to create graphs and charts.
- Must be organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with effective time-management abilities.
- Must also be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- The ability to write routine reports and correspondence is also required.
- Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity.
- Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work.
- Effectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner.

Education and Experience:
- High-school diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of Quality Control experience.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (pounds) as required.
- Prior experience in Manufacturing/Production a plus, Six Sigma knowledge a plus.
