Job Description
The Quality Control Technicianwill be responsible for ensuring product quality is maintained or improved through testing, inspecting, and documenting our procedures and products. Work with the engineering team to recommend and implement new quality procedures and practices.
Responsibilities:
Documentation and management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs),Documentation and management of returns and warranty replacements.
Conducting inspections and documenting results. Including but not limited to:
Final inspection of product, Receiving inspection, JIG inspection, First Article inspection, Process Audits, Vendor Audits, Analyze processes and procedures for improved quality, Support 5S implementation in shop workstations, Manage MRB area and red tagged items
Basic Qualifications:
- Able to read/interpret blueprints and understand part dimensions
- Perform tasks without supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal communication
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Control
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Good judgment and ability to make decisions in a timely manner
