Quality Control Technician

Working hours: 9am-5pm

Able to work in a fast pace environment, quick learner, able to speak and write in Spanish and English. At least a year of experience of Quality department in the food industry. We will provide training for this position. Must have knowledge of CCP's, Pre-Op, and HACCP

Purpose / Propósito:

The Quality Control Technician maintains and enforces the procedures of the quality system of the company, ensuring that the products and services meet the quality standards. / El técnico de Control de calidad mantiene y hace cumplir, los procedimientos del sistema de calidad de la compañía, asegurándose que los productos y servicios cumplen con los estándares de calidad.

• Plan to direct, control and review the functioning of the Quality system and the resources necessary for its implementation and continuous improvement/Planificar dirigir, controlar y revisar el funcionamiento del sistema de Calidad así como los recursos necesarios para su implementación y mejora continua

• Guarantee the quality of the product/ Garantizar la calidad del Producto
• Follow up on the processes already established by the company/ Seguimiento a procesos ya establecidos por la compañía.
• Check temperatures/ Checar temperaturas
• Verify formats/ Verificar Formatos
• Inspect the company's facilities/ Inspeccionar las instalaciones de la compañía
• Inspect the proper mix of chemicals/ Inspeccionar la mezcla adecuada de los químicos.
• be on the lookout for critical control points/ Estar al pendiente de los puntos críticos de control.
• Verify and follow up the HACCP program in each of the company's departments /Verificar y dar seguimiento al programa de HACCP en cada uno de los departamentos de la compañía

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
