Quality Control Technician, Up to $23.00/hour- 1st Shift – Plymouth

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain schedule and log for label printing/control
Perform Quality Control tests on finished products. This includes tasting at the appropriate dilution with pH, brix, and color determination as needed. Adjust if necessary.
Maintain complete QC and production records for all products
Maintain 2 fl. oz. of non-cooked product retention, as well as 8 fl. oz. of cooked product retention samples for each production batch.
Maintain laboratory supplies. Eg. pH buffers, disposable pipettes, gloves for production personnel. Discard materials if expired.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and laboratory equipment. Calibrate equipment according to the designated schedule.
Monitor CCP adherence on batching information (QC#1) and verify completion on QC checklist (QC#2).
Check in raw materials at the time of arrival by verifying PO#’s and appropriate documentation of incoming product.
Test raw materials for compliance to attached COA’s using associated lab techniques, such as FTIR.
Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Solid understanding of test equipment
Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience
Compile and verifies data to ensure accuracy while appropriately formatting it.
Strong working knowledge of with enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Strong analytical and mathematics skills.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
