How you will spend your time as a Quality Control Technician:
- Guardian of quality: Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet our rigorous standards.
- Detective work: Identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring that only the best products reach our customers.
- Scientific work: Utilize metrology equipment and follow detailed instructions to ensure precise measurements. Interpret blueprints to perform first article inspections.
- Solve problems: Work with the Quality Control Manager to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Document: Enter auditing tasks per ISO 9001 standards.
Skills and experience you need as a Quality Control Technician:
- Minimum one year Quality Control experience
- Ability to use measurement tools to ensure tight tolerances.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T preferred
- Knowledge of SPC (statistical process control) and ISO experience preferred
