Salary Range: $65,000 - 75,000

Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in implementing and sustaining robust quality systems and programs. Your responsibilities include:

• Implementing quality systems and programs to uphold the highest standards of quality and food safety.
• Educating, training, and coaching plant personnel on the critical aspects of GMP, Food Safety, Business risk, and Quality Management System activities.
• Harmonizing and ensuring compliance with Ditsch Quality and Food Safety Systems across assigned operations.
• Acting as the guardian of site policy and conducting line checks to guarantee the facility and processes meet Ditsch USA Quality expectations.
• Overseeing QC technicians, managing the QC Hold Program, and maintaining organized QC documents.
• Supporting Quality Manager and Operations Audit processes through various activities such as line start-ups, changeovers, walk-throughs, trials, and meetings.
• Generating various reports and metrics as needed.
• Conducting Quality and Food Safety trainings, including inspection/auditor and Food Safety sessions.
• Ensuring the plant is audit-ready at all times and supporting all audit activities.
• Reviewing Product Quality Assurance documents necessary for customer and inspection submissions.
• Mentoring, coaching, training, and leading quality technicians on all shifts.
• Conducting daily GMP walkthroughs, following up, and providing corrective actions on opportunities.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related science or engineering field, preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a quality assurance role in the food industry.
• Demonstrated understanding of GMPs, food safety, business risk, and Quality Management System activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and implement change.
• Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• HACCP and PCQI Certifications, preferred.
