We are Lockheed Martin
Supervises all QA inspectors and NDI technicians.
Plans daily activities and schedules work for inspectors. Observes and evaluates employee performance.
Evaluates inspection capabilities, planning, completion dates, and coordinates with other departments to resolve technical problems.
Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans.
Majority of liaison is on internal basis with subordinates and supervisors at equivalent level or one/two higher levels. Liaison normally involves specific phases of a project or operation. External contacts are infrequent and involve routine manners.
Accomplishes tasks mainly through direct supervision of non-exempt and hourly employees.
Essential Functions:
1. Organizes, plans, and schedules workflow for department.
2. Tracks and monitors quality, schedules, and budgets performance in department.
3. Provides required ESH and other training to employees in department.
4. Is a member of the Material Review Board (MRB) who dispositions non-conformances which do not require Engineering disposition.
5. Acts as a liaison for the MRB while non-conformances are being reviewed/dispositioned by the Customer or Engineering.
Additional Duties:
1. Prepares special reports and projects as required.
2. Assists in interview process.
3. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years experience working within a quality or manufacturing department.
• Experience with both manufacturing and
inspection processes.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Desired skills
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and Material Review Board functions and networks.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License, repair experience in the military, equivalent structural experience and/or supervisorial.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Leadership experience in a union environment.
• Communication (verbal/written) skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $74,700 - $143,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
