As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager /Site Safety Health Officer to join our team on a Federal Government Construction project in St. Louis, MO.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Must be on-site and available when employees and subcontractors are on-site
- Conduct regular site inspections and Quality Control checks to guarantee work meets quality standards.
- Responsible for all daily reporting.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety among all on-site personnel.
- Attend all meetings with client and project teams
- Coordinate and report all safety concerns and issues with Byrne and Jones safety manager
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the QC, Safety, and Accident Prevention Plan
- Complete all necessary pre-requisite requirements required
- Conduct daily safety and health inspections, and maintain a written log of inspections
- Conduct mishap investigations and complete accident reports
- Use and maintain OSHA’s Form 300
- Maintain Safety reference materials and SDS
- Perform the three phases of Quality Control (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up)
- Assist in the submission and control of submittals and shop drawings
- Responsible for the scheduling, control, and verification of all testing required
- Provide all testing certifications and documentation required
- Will communicate to the Project Manager any pertinent information/issues that need to be addressed in the field.
