Manages the Quality Control function in accordance with Quality Assurance system requirements, goals, and objectives. Manages certifications and coordinate all internal / external ISO & customer audits. Organize and maintain Quality Control activities in a way that optimizes resources while achieving departmental results; set and plan objectives for self and Quality Control personnel in order to achieve common company goals. Communicates directly with key customer team members on internal inspection procedures, newly developed processes, and remedial plans for all delivered customer products. Manages, plans, coordinates, and heads the Quality Control program designed to ensure continuous production/service consistent with established standards. Identifies problems and resolves issues by rapid implementation of controlled workable solutions; understanding the implications of actions and decisions on the company's goals and strategies. Represent the perspective of the customer in order to improve work activities and customer satisfaction. Develops and ensure adherence to job specific quality plans. Participates in quality management and continuous improvement teams. Maintains and provides key quality metrics like supplier OTD, supplier quality, FPY, COPQ, etc. Participate in Vendor Surveys for qualification, on-going surveillance, and corrective action efforts. Maintains the Quality Control Manual in accordance with Quality Assurance requirements. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, and ability to work on–site. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum five years related experience in Quality Control functions including dimensional inspection, code compliance (AWS, NEC, etc), calibration systems / records. Previous experience operating in a continuous improvement or ISO 9000 environment preferred.
