This role is responsible for reviewing specifications, performing inspection tests, and documenting inspection results.

What You Will Do:
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual, measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming rework.
- Document inspection results by completing reports; summarizing re-work and reject/scrap.
- Perform required physical tests to applicable products.
- Perform requested product investigation due to customer complaint or manufacturing non-conformance.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Maintain compliance with FDA/ISO regulations and standards.
- Perform and review line clearance for Manufacturing. Must sign approval of completion.
- Enter data and transactions on internal quality and production software.
- Perform other similar duties as required.
Position Details:
- Location: Eagan, MN
- Work week and shift: 1st Shift / 5 days a week / 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (30 min break)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Secondary Degree with minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles, or
- High School diploma or GED with minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, work instructions and standards.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams

Physical Demands:
- Lifting or physical requirements:
- Light Work <25LB, occasionally <35LB
- Ability to work in a clean room environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced with measurement and inspection equipment, calipers, micrometers, timers, temperature measurement, etc.
- Experience working within a regulated environment, preferably medical device Class 1 Disposable Medical Device Product Development and/or production.
