Quality Control Assistant "Entry Level"

CATEC is look to hire a Quality Control Assistant. The Quality Control Assistant provides administrative support for the Quality department. This role works under the direction of the Quality Manager. It is essential for the candidate in this role to understand the importance of confidentiality and professionalism. This role requires a lot of documenting, updating documentation, entering data, and other administrative support tasks such as scanning, filing, recording, etc. The essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

· Carrying out administrative duties as directed by the Quality Manager such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing office and customer correspondence.

· Maintaining company product and service files, vendor files, and other files related to the Quality Department’s operations.

· Accurately entering and recoding product data, scanning, filing, etc.

· Communicating effectively with coworkers and management.

· Working with the Quality Manager to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.

· Performing other relevant duties when needed.

Education

· High school diploma/GED

*** Good working knowledge of computer skills, i.e. word, excel, PowerPoint

Experience

· 2 years of administrative type experience

· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
