- Company is expanding its QA function for AML Investigations. The role involves reviewing completed cases and SARs to ensure proper disposition. The individual will serve as the final check on SAR or no-SAR determinations and will be responsible for filing with FinCEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review 25 end-to-end investigations daily to assess the accuracy of SAR filing.
- Conduct weekly quality checks on approximately 15 randomly selected cases.
- Maintain 100% accuracy in determinations.
Required Skills:
- Financial crimes expertise, including AML and fraud investigation.
- Knowledge of SARs and suspicious activity reports.
- Quality assurance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Seeking consultants with a strong background in investigations and QA, specifically in retail AML investigations. Emphasis on QA of SAR narratives and final decisions, not alerts/triage.
- Minimum 3+ years of SAR QA experience with a major financial institution.
- Experience with retail investigations is preferred.

- Candidates must possess a personal laptop for the assignment, as no additional laptops will be provided.
