Position Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the excellence and consistency of our cannabis products. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the documentation and record-keeping processes within a cannabis manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and internal policies by managing the review, distribution, and maintenance of all quality control related documents.
Essential Functions:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining product integrity, identifying deviations, and collaborating closely with production teams to address any issues promptly. Precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards will be essential in this role. Your key responsibilities include, but is not limited to the following:

• Document Management – Maintain an organized and up-to-date document control system for various departments within the establishment.
• Version Control – Implement and oversee version control procedures to manage changes and updates to documents.
• Distribution – Coordinate the distribution of controlled documents, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Archiving – Develop and manage an efficient archiving system for historical records while ensuring accessibility for audits and inspections.
• Compliance Monitoring – Regularly audit documents to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• SOP Maintenance – Create and revise standard operating procedures (SOP’s), work instructions, and forms related to quality control activities.
• Collaborate - Communicate closely with teams to address any deviations or discrepancies identified during quality control testing.
• Conducts all duties in compliance with safety rules, applicable SOPs, and other applicable guidelines.
• Serve as a company brand ambassador to represent the brand appropriately.
• Follow and implement the company’s core values including respect, diversity, sustainability, research, and service.
