ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Perform laboratory testing on in process and/or finished product to ensure documented specifications are met. Communicate regularly with the production group on current test results to avoid running product that does not meet specification. Perform duties following GMP’s and conduct business in a professional manner.
Responsible for ensuring the production of safe and high-quality products through verification of all processes and keen attention to all of La Regina Atlantica’s Critical Control Points.
SPECIFIC DUTIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB
1. Determine pH of a sample and maintain the pH meter per company SOP(s)
2. Understand and follow “Good Documentation Practices” and “GMP’S”
3. Perform Pre-Operation checks prior to production running to ensure equipment is clean, proper labeling and code dates, and material from previous runs have been removed
4. Perform weight and dimensional checks on finished product to ensure it’s in specification
5. Perform Vacuum Testing on finished product
6. Complete Operational Verification checks on x-ray Cabinet and Metal Detectors as outlined in Company SOP(s)
7. Document all test data results on proper forms
8. Perform requirements outlined in the “On Hold” SOP
9. Assist in Raw Material receipt and sampling for confirmatory testing
NOTE: QA Supervisor and/or Director is responsible to ensure all QC responsibilities are covered in the event someone is absent.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties listed above with little supervision once completely trained.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Position requires a minimum of a GED degree. College or Technical degree strongly desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills essential for effectively fulfill the job. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret test results.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to effectively calculate test data results.
