POSITION:Quality Assurance Systems Specialist
FLSA Classification: Exempt
GENERAL SCOPE: Assist in the development and implementation of an End-to-End Quality Management System (QMS) which supports the organization’s annual business plan and long-term strategy. End-to-End focus encompasses all functions and teams, including development, manufacturing, and distribution.
The successful candidate will:
- Quality Management System: support implementation of a QMS which addresses both current and future quality, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Culture: Leverage the QMS to cultivate a proactive, prevention-based quality culture.
- Continuous Improvement: Coordinate regular quality performance reviews to identify and action improvement opportunities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support implementation of an End-to-End Quality Management System (QMS) which supports the organization’s annual business plan and long-term strategy.
- Manage QMS to comply with relevant quality regulatory requirements and to support strategic End-to-End goals. Specific duties include coordinating management reviews and management of core quality dimensions such as document management, auditing, and training.
- Improve existing inspection practices to ensure that quality standards meet or exceed customer requirements. Drive continuous improvement mindset. Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects when needed.
- Support customer satisfaction goals and business growth via Sales team support. Resolve customer complaints and verify corrective action effectiveness. Leverage CAPAs to prevent recurrence.
- Support a supplier management program to ensure continuous quality improvement of incoming materials. Develop and maintain a supplier quality index, evaluate control program and information to assure that only high-quality vendors are retained. Duties also include on-site supplier audits.
- Host customer audits, certification audits, and inspections.
- Meet with vendors, customers, quality representatives and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required.
- Consistent with MANE’s environmental commitments, every employee shall actively participate in relevant education/training based upon corporate and local environmental objectives. Management shall support and facilitate the actions within their teams to implement environmental policies, procedures, and practices effectively and adequately, as well as promote continual improvement consistent with environmental goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or business.
- Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing in the Chemical or Cosmetic industry. Experience with flavor, fragrances or cosmetics is a plus.
- Knowledgeable of relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 22716. Knowledge of 21 CFR 210 and 211 is a plus.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and procedures.
- Quality management experience in the Flavors & Fragrances industry preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and other applicable regulations and standards (preferred)
