Purchasing Administrative Assistant
Summary/Objective:
As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our procurement efforts and ensuring the efficient operation of the purchasing department. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Hours: Flexible / Part-Time/Full-Time / Mothers’ Hours / 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 p/h DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, track deliveries, and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels, including tracking stock levels and reorder points.
- Accurate and efficient data entry of purchase-related information into the company's systems.
- Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- Analyze supplier pricing and negotiate favorable terms.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.
- Assist in receiving, logging, and storing products for analysis. Ensure proper labeling and adherence to safety protocols.

Quality Assurance Specialist
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your role is vital in ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and customer requirements.
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay Rate: $80,000 - $105,000K
KeyResponsibilities:
- Oversee quality control procedures from raw material intake to finished product packaging.
- Conduct regular inspections of production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and document key quality indicators, such as temperature, humidity, and product characteristics.
- Perform routine sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Utilize laboratory equipment and analytical methods to assess product quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for process improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, food safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Participate in internal and external audits, assisting in the preparation and response to audit findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance or quality control within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., FDA, USDA), GMP, and relevant certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO).
- Proficient in conducting quality tests and using laboratory equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify deviations or anomalies.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report findings.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
