Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an inquisitive, analytical, and versatile individual to join USANA's Quality Assurance team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. In this position, you will develop Quality Assurance systems and conduct routine quality functions related to document and change control. The role will also include working with other USANA departments to resolve deviation, correction, and change control process. In addition, you will write, edit, review, and implement control documents and control, prepare, route, format, distribute, audit, and maintain SOPs. Our ideal candidate is someone who seeks to understand and implement changes, can confidently work with individuals at all levels of the organization, and will seek opportunities for improvements within their team.

What You Will Do as USANA's Quality Assurance Specialist
- Develop and maintain historical, GMP, and other files of regulated documents for completeness
- Provide and oversee annual GMP training for various USANA department
- Assist in developing and maintaining the company's Quality Assurance system to ensure manufacture of products that meet necessary quality standards
- Participate in and lead internal audits as needed
- Conduct routine Quality Assurance tasks to assure cGMP compliance, product quality output and to ensure conformity to specifications
- Assist with the pest control program, including working with the external pest control operator as needed
- Prepare tend reports, presentations, and other documentation
Background and Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree, with a preference for a degree in life sciences
- Knowledge of cGMP guidelines, FDA 21 CFR parts 111, 117, and 211; and TGA PIC/s guidance
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with document management systems
What Will Make You Standout
- Minimum four years' experience in Quality Assurance and cGMP preferred
- Experience using enterprise resource planning programs and document management systems
- Quality auditing experience and auditing certification
