We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing a comprehensive Quality Assurance program for the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing work products across the department, ensuring they meet established standards, and providing valuable recommendations for analysis improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a Quality Assurance program for the department.
- Audit work products, including Standard Operating Procedure documents, to ensure accuracy, currency, and utilization.
- Review and assess tickets to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to proper workflows.
- Conduct workflow reviews by collaborating with team members to walk through tasks, identify any deviations from established workflows, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Summarize analysis for leadership review, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Ensure the department follows established processes and procedures, identifying and addressing instances where deviations occur.
- Make recommendations to management regarding updates to workflows or additional training/education based on findings
- Secret clearance is required.
- Sec+ certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance and process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and management.
- Familiarity with auditing procedures and documentation processes.
- Comfortable working on-site at Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
