dataCon one of the US leading SDVOSB defense contractors is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager for our US Navy business in Chelmsford, Mass.

Summary of Duties:

The Manager of Quality will develop and oversee quality management
systems in compliance with AS 9100
.
Specific Duties:

• Directs operations of Quality Department including quality levels of incoming materials, manufactured components and finished products. Establishes overall quality levels and specifications; conducts audits of systems and products to assure compliance with corporate, customer and industry requirements.
• Supervises Quality Assurance personnel.
• Implement and execute all AS 9100 procedures to identify and drive resolution of process inefficiencies, product quality issues, and vendor and customer issues.
• Manager is responsible for maintaining AS 9100 training. Proactively participates in AS9100 management review pertaining to all respective department responsibilities.
• Manage internal audits
• Work with quote launch, risk mitigation meetings to include evaluation of new product part #s to ensure compliance with to print requirements.
• Manage and communicate quality data from multiple sources to assist in the risk management and risk-based decision processes to ensure PO compliance.
• Manage the corrective and preventive action (CAPA), management review process, and internal quality audit programs
• Manage Non-Conforming Material Reviews and MRB activities
• Manage supplier audits, supplier approvals and supplier corrective actions

Required:

• B.S. Business, Engineering or related field.
• Not less than ten years previous electronic manufacturing experience.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical problem solving required.
• Experience in Total Quality Management and process improvement.
• Advanced excel skills.
