We are looking for Quality Assurance Internsto help us execute our product roadmap. Our technology is FDA cleared, and the next step is bringing it to market so we can impact the quality of care for pregnant women in underserved areas and reduce maternal mortality. You'll work with a product designer, product manager, QA Engineer, and software engineers to bring it to market so we can save lives.
Our headquarters are located out of Austin, Texas but the position will be remote in the United States. It will require occasional testing to be completed in a dedicated lab environment within our Austin office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Help reduce maternal-fetal mortality. Our mission is everything.
- Under the direction of the QA Engineer, create test documents including test cases, check lists, and defects reports. (Hope you love tests!)
- Manually run tests, evaluate results and statuses, and report on bugs. (Like, really love tests.)
- Estimate execution time for test tasks and prep test suites.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to deliver a user experience that delights patients and providers.
- Actively monitor production systems and proactively address quality issues.
- Participate in an outcomes-based development methodology that incorporates Agile, lean, and design thinking to support an iterative process (PLAN, DO, CHECK, ACT).
- Other duties assigned by supervisors

IS THIS YOU?
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Growing knowledge of testing software and methodology
- Basic understanding of web development languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Familiarity with Chrome Browser Developer Tools or similar toolset
- Investigative mind to accurately provide QA documentation and QA verification evidence
- Apt to creating test cases and defect reports
- Strong written and verbal communicator who works well in a team setting
- Organized, detail oriented, and like to take notes
- Available to work minimum of 8 hours/week
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future. For any roles working remotely, the work must also be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country.
