Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Complaint Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze customer complaints, developing action plans to address identified issues.
- Service Delivery Collaboration:
- Work closely with the service team to ensure Quality Assurance is seamlessly integrated into all aspects of service delivery.
- Audits and Inspections:
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Training Programs:
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
- Cross-Functional Initiatives:
- Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to develop and implement cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
- Industry Trends and Development:
- Keep up to date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve Quality Assurance processes.
- Supplier Inspections:
- Lead supplier factory inspections and part analysis to identify quality issues and drive improvements.
- Quality Engineering:
- Collaborate with suppliers as a quality engineer to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for identified quality issues.
- Field Investigations
- Visit dealerships and sales locations to investigate and identify specific instances of customer complaints, working to identify root causes.
- Metrics and KPIs:
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Technical Service Bulletins (TSB):
- Check the field’s TSB and create its own TSB once the field campaign is determined.
- **Reimbursement System:
- Implement a reimbursement system and link it with warranty information to obtain warranty cost due to failures provoked by suppliers.
- Field Analysis and Resolution:
- Maintain and improve quality performance in every area through field analysis and process resolution.
- Root Cause Analysis:
- Lead the analysis in parts, vehicles, and materials to obtain root cause results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
