Quality Assurance Engineer Automotive- 1St Shift

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our clients' team in Port Huron, MI. This person will ensure high-quality series launches with suppliers and customers, meeting grade 1 standards and documentation.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED or University degree in Quality/Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' automotive industry experience.
• Leadership and supplier audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Quality Assurance from offer phase to grade 1 release.
• Plan project management.
• Conduct supplier audits and inspections.
• Develop work and test instructions.
• Manage complaints and initial samples.
• Plan inspections and tests.
• Procure customer samples.
• Perform certification and process acceptance.
• Support and qualify suppliers.
• Address quality issues and halt production when needed.
