HOW YOU WILL DO IT
Purpose Statement: Support the Quality Department by leading the operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in validation of parts and troubleshooting of manufacturing issues.
Work Hours: 3PM-11PM Monday-Friday (open to discussing alternative 2nd shift hours)
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Assist Supplier Quality Engineers and Quality Engineers with trouble shooting components and manufacturing issues.
- Lead the generation of CMM programs for the site.
- Maintain computer applications required for CAD programs.
- Support other inspection processes within facility.
- Support software measurement system.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Support User Group projects.
- Transfer Customer supplied CAD data and create program files.
- Create CAD data from spec sheets or sample when it is not customer or designer supplied.
- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated <5%).
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in electro-mechanical, manufacturing systems, or mechanical design/drafting is preferred.
- One (1) year of related experience is required; Five (5) years of related experience is preferred.
- Experience with CMM programs is desired.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Work Environment:
- The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level.
