Digital Consultants is looking for an experienced, responsible Quality Assurance & CMMI/ISO Manager for the development, management, and technical leadership of the Quality Management System and the CMMI/ISO Implementation and Certification functions. As the management representative, be accountable for leading, establishing, implementing, & maintaining the CMMI, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001 certifications and Quality Management System to the latest revisions. The ideal individual for this role must possess strong communication, analytic, planning, organizational, and process planning and writing skills, and have a basic IT background, preferably in federal government contracting with the DoD. This individual must have firsthand and proven experience in the successful implementation of CMMI, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001 standards in an organization. Certifications in CMMI, ASQ, and PMP are preferred and may become a future requirement.
Duties include:

  • Develops, implements, and manages quality standards, protocols, policies, and procedures relating to the quality and reliability of our services and processes, including the overall CMMI, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001 Quality Management System. Performs regular evaluation and revision as needed.
  • Lead the analysis, selection and roll-out of project management tools and processes that enable the targeted integrated delivery models.
  • Establishes Quality Assurance parameters, sampling plans, and processes to ensure that quality and reliability standards are met.
  • Develop and employ strategies to bring alignment and true partnership between operation, finance, technology, HR, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain the program's process documentation in accordance with policies/procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and CMMI standards within the organization.
  • As the CMMI/ISO Representative, conducts and coordinates internal and external quality audits and coordinates resolution of issues.
  • Ensures adherence to practices, procedures, precedents, policy and Executive Leadership direction.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining processes for the control of internal and external documentation released to SharePoint.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring compliance, conducting regular self-audits, managing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensure functional area deliverables are understood, cross-functionally aligned, execution of deliverables and timelines are on track.
  • Establishes Quality Assurance parameters, sampling plans and processes to ensure that quality and reliability standards are met during production.
  • Provide the necessary training and facilitating skills to drive transformation activities and ensure long term adoption.
  • You would collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and maintain certification levels.
  • Coordinates and runs quarterly quality Management review meetings with company Leadership.
  • Document, prepare & present Management Review data as described in the Quality Management System
  • Aggregate and analyze quality data and suggest methods for improving quality, design and business processes.
  • Validates quality processes by establishing specifications and quality attributes through documenting evidence, determining operational/performance qualifications, and writing and updating Quality Assurance procedures.
  • Prepares regular, thorough, and articulate executive summaries for senior leadership on project and team performance.
  • Manage report automation, distribution, and quality of all reports.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and integrate findings into future project planning and execution processes.
  • Partners with managers to identify metrics that can be used to benchmark, analyze, and report.
  • Achieves Quality Assurance operational objectives through data analysis tied to strategic plans and goals.
  • Perform quality management audits and reviews to ensure process adherence (e.g., techniques and procedures (TTPs) and that all Service Level Objectives (SLOs) are understood and reported properly.
  • Schedule and coordinate all the quality and performance monitoring activities of the staff across the program; prepare QA reports.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
  • Responsible for ensuring process improvements, documentation, and passing third-party certification audits to maintain clients' certification and standards.
  • Develop and oversee an effective quality management system to continuously identify opportunities for improvement while maintaining adherence to contract SLOs.
  • Research into and contribute towards new project capabilities.
  • Establish standards governing stakeholder interactions and implement monitoring programs.
  • Perform analysis and monitoring of all performance metrics to ensure compliance with internal, external, contract performance, and quality standards.
  • Manage internal and external client expectations related to quality management and effectively communicate quality standards across the program.
  • Champion the adoption of project management best practices across the organization, providing training and support to project managers and teams.
  • Maintaining governance standards and reporting inconsistencies to leadership for resolution
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve data strategy and data usage.

Requirements
  • Must have led the implementation of CMMI certification for a company.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Continuous Improvement Processes & ISO/MIL Quality Systems.
  • Must be able to identify and address "unknowns" or gaps in the process and be able to develop creative solutions.
  • Strong project management knowledge.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with CMMI, ISO 9001, ISO 27001; supporting SOP development. (Prior experience as a CMMI or ISO auditor is strongly desired, but not required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • CMMI Professional Certification is preferred.
  • ASQ Certification is preferred.
  • PMP Certification, a plus
  • Experience in IT and/or federal contracting preferred.
