The Quality Assurance Assistant provides administrative support for the Director of Quality Assurance. Work is performed under general supervision but functions independently. Various computerized and non-computerized reports are prepared regularly. Accuracy and timeliness are essential as they may affect legal and economic liability to the facility. Regular interaction with all staff members, physicians, outside agencies and the public is required. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality and organizational skills and technical savvy. Records in writing, word processes, duplicates and maintains a file of important correspondence. Word processes, duplicates, distributes and maintains a computer file for all memos, letters, reports, bills, etc. Attend meetings/takes meeting notes: UR, Clinical Org, Dr.'s meeting, Tracers (client and system), collects reports on EOC, Safe-T Meeting, monitors the Utilization Review process and prepares review forms for UR coordinators on a regular basis. Updates all required postings on dorms; obtain nursing signatures and files incidents/reconciles incidents monthly. Updates policies and procedures with oversight. Prepares updated schedules for department employees and for PHF concurrent review assignments.

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
- High School Graduate or equivalent required
- Associates degree or equivalent preferred
- Two (2) years in an inpatient or outpatient medical/office setting with MS Office Suite experience, preferred

- A comprehensive mental health in patient residential facility for adolescents
- Serving up to 60 adolescents (ranging from ages 12-17) statewide
- Intensive residential services dedicated to serving clients with serious mental health problems with the highest dignity and quality of services since 1988
- Programs: Psychiatric Health Facility, Community Treatment Facility and Non-Public High School - 24/7 locked facility
- Multidisciplinary Mental Health Services, Therapeutic Behavioral Health Services, and Intensive Day Treatment Program
