Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. Job description:
The Quality Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing standardization of manufacturing quality enablers. You must be a creative problem solver, proactive and steadfast in the identification and resolution vehicle quality.
You will show commitment and dedication in delivering a premier product to the consumer, represent the Voice of the Customer to the platform teams and chip in or drive team success by clarifying expectation and minimizing political hurdles. The Project Quality Manager Specialist will demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering results and champion achievements and exhibit a willingness to do things differently and consistently translate ideas into actions that deliver results.
Key responsibilities:
Perform root cause analysis of quality issues, often using advanced problem-solving tools (Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Design of Experiments, etc.)
recommend and implement cost-effective permanent corrective actions.
analyze quality data from internal and external indicators, handling engineering changes working with a multi-functional team to ensure timely execution.
conduct product evaluation tests to ensure robustness of product or process change before full implementation and will be the point of contact for engineering quality and all product-related incidents.
ensure delivery of third-party quality metrics
plan, prioritize, set goals and manage numerous projects in a technical and business environment.
establish partnerships both internally and externally to influence without direct authority.
Required Skills
Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Chemical, Civil or Materials from an ABET accredited university
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented with good process awareness
Ability to collect and synthesize data into relevant information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
Self-directed, team oriented with proven planning/problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of computer systems and software including Excel and Powerpoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Automotive proven experience or internship
Motivated to learn new principles and ideas, to make a positive impact in the work environment and on the quality of the products
