Quality Associate

Job Summary:

As a Quality Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet internal requirements and customer needs. You will test samples from the production floor to ensure compliance with supplier, ENTEK, and customer specifications. Your testing work will also include testing raw materials to ensure they meet supplier specifications. After testing, you will communicate results to the appropriate parties. You will also test key equipment to ensure accurate results. A critical part of your job will be to test and verify that equipment is operating as expected and is returning accurate results. You may also need to perform other duties as assigned during your shift. Your commitment to following safety procedures and Lean manufacturing standards will be essential for maintaining a clean, safe, accurate, and efficient work environment.

This job is assigned to our night shift Sunday-Wednesday, but may require working any shift based on business need.

Working Environment:

Requires working 3 1/2 twelve-hour shifts in a manufacturing plant laboratory, and requires standing for the majority of a shift.

Responsible for handling or moving hazardous waste material.

May occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.

Requires the use of safety glasses/goggles/face shield, gloves, lab coats, coveralls, and hearing protection.
Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of documents.
• Ability to identify problems, gather data, analyze information, draw logical conclusions, and devise practical solutions.
• Ability to regularly rotate between workstations and tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English through writing and in speaking with others.
• Ability to accurately and completely complete documentation.
• Satisfactory results from a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in a laboratory or quality control capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with chemicals and safety procedures.
