KidPointe is a Christian-based, child-centered, early education program providing a wide range of activities in a developmentally appropriate setting serving children from 6 weeks to 36 months old with an additional Toddler Program for children 18 months - 36 months with a licensed capacity of 38 Infants and 12 toddlers (50 TOTAL).
We are officially licensed and getting ready to open our new Ventura Infant Center in 2023. KidPointe is currently seeking to hire a QUALIFIED TEACHER who would like to be mentored and supported to become an Assistant Infant Center Director.

Key Responsibilities and Measures of Success:
- Lead staff by setting the ideal example of being an in-classroom teacher with additional administrative and leadership responsibilities such as staffing and scheduling
- 100% Compliance with licensing and Best in Class Church Preschool BEST PRACTICES and CONSULTING
- Assist in the Recruiting, Hiring, and Retention of 5-Star Teachers that families adore measured by teachers getting at least one email or other documented compliment per month from a program family
- Zero licensing violations

POSITION REQUIRES completing Title 22 Guidelines and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of State laws and licensing requirements.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience as a lead teacher and/or assistant director in a preschool with an infant care program
- Even temperament to handle all situations and personalities/temperaments
- Nurturing demeanor to advise and listen to parents and staff thoughtfully
- Limber and adaptable

3. Submit Proof of CCLD Requirements for Qualified Teacher and/or Assistant Director (Transcripts, Certificates, etc.)
4. Zoom Interview
5. Complete Additional Assessments (approx. 60 minutes)
6. Onsite SHADOW DAY with Administrator and Director from Affiliated Preschool in Orange County (PAID EXPERIENCE + TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT)

8. Prior to the offering of employment, the applicant's resume, transcripts, and other supporting documentation may be subject to review and approval by the Licensing Analyst assigned to our center by Community Care Licensing
9. Offer of Employment
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Assistant director candidates shall be at the minimum a QUALIFIED TEACHER as specified per Title 22 Section: 101215.1:
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of Community Care Licensing Components I and III
- 16 hours of health and safety training pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid certified with the ability to act quickly and appropriately during emergencies and hazardous situations
- Must have current immunization shots: including MMR, Tdap, TB test, Influenza Shot, or waiver
- Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to routinely carry, bend, kneel, sit on small furniture and sit on the floor
- Completion of State required forms, reports, and Criminal Background Check Clearance.
