Teachers are responsible for being part of a cohesive teaching team, implementing curriculum and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.
- Teachers understand children’s social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience, in a Certified Childcare Center or comparable group care program, in the care of toddler age, preschool-age and school age children
- Provide Oregon Criminal Background Registry Number
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents)
- Foster a positive team environment
- A strong understanding of child development
- Current Adult/Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification
- Current Food Handlers Card
Educational Requirements Preferred but not Required:
- Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Knowledge in Continuous Discipline Methodology
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 35-40 lbs. and must be able to perform physical tasks for 8 hours a day
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
