Job Description
New Pathways Youth Services (NPYS) provides a home-based services to children and adults with mental health disabilities. With our Intensive In-Home service, we cater to children who are at imminent risk of being removed from their family into an out-of-home placement or who demonstrate intense behaviors, in or out of the home, that are dangerous to themselves and others. NPYS also provides mental health skill building services to adults to assist with stabilizing them in the community. With this service we assist the adults with learning how to function independently by teaching them budgeting skills, medication management, ADL's, and IDL's.
- All employees must be registered with Virginia Board of Counseling as QHMP.
- Punctual and prompt documentation in compliance with DBHDS.
- Help preparation of individualized service dates and updates.
- Provide behavioral interventions and solutions as needed for clients
- Maintain client's file in compliance with DBHDS and NPYS Inc.
- Attend conferences, weekly staff meetings and training as required.
- Provide education and advocacy for parents and families.
