Job Description
The Quality Control Inspector position inspects products for conformance to specifications.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review Product drawings and specifications thoroughly to understand product requirements.
- Perform visual, dimensional, thread and functionality inspection.
- Experience with and ability to operate/use measuring tools, thread gauges etc.
- Perform minor rework as needed.
- Report any non-conformance found during the inspection to QC Supervisor.
- Record inspection/rework results on required forms.
- Attach Product Disposition Color tags to products accordingly per procedure.
- Carries out any special QC tests per QC supervisor’s instructions of the material whenever required per procedure.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by QC Supervisor or Quality Manager.

Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
