Title: Quality Assurance Technician (Part-time)
Shift: Part-time as business needs, Monday – Friday, but only 2-3 days a week, 8am- 4pm .
Location: Tucson, AZ
Pay: $17-18/hr

Job Duties:
The Life Science Quality Assurance Associate is an entry-level position within the Quality Assurance (QA) department. This role primarily involves detailed review of laboratory-generated, paper-based documents. The objective is to ensure that these documents consistently adhere to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
In this role, you will interact with staff in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams. This engagement will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the Quality Assurance GDP process and its role in ensuring quality processes.
- Support Quality Systems under the direction of Quality Assurance Manager
- Follows written instructions to complete routine reviews of laboratory records in accordance with site standard operating procedures, good documentation practices (GDP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ensuring that the GDP review of laboratory-generated, paper-based documents, is performed in a timely manner.
- Gain and apply in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, contributing actively to the continuous improvement of these processes.
- Embrace and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement, seeking ways to enhance quality processes and documentation standards.
- Maintain understanding of company standards, guidelines and QMS processes to support and help stakeholders with applicable instructions.
- Perform other Quality Assurance Duties as required.
Experience/ Education
- Associate’ degree with at least one-year related experience and/or training.
- OR at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
