Qa Technician

Summary: Seeking a QA Technician specialized in assurance of product quality, inspection, testing and documentation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Excellent computer capabilities, including MS Office

• Ability to work on a 12-hour dayshift position, 36 hours 1 week, 48 hours 1 week of a biweekly period on a 2/3, 3/2 schedule.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience with plastics/injection molding

• Knowledge of all testing and measuring equipment used in the Quality and Manufacturing departments

• Ability to read blueprints, data, manuals or other materials to determine specifications

Responsibilities:

• Inspection and documentation for compliance with customer-specified requirements

• Performance and documentation of complete first-piece inspections including visual, dimensional and functional testing as required by customer specifications

• Maintenance of documentation to comply with Customer and Company quality standards

• Ensuring batch record documentation is available and completed properly

• Inspection of parts from new molds and collaboration with Process Engineering

• Use of statistical process control techniques

• Participation in teams with manufacturing staff to develop corrective action plans when out-of-conformance situations occur.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
