Associate Algorithm Researcher- New York, NY- Use Python, C++, & various comp-assisted tools to support the dev of algos to analyze the co-mvmt of asset returns across glbl mkts. Conduct academic rsrch on stats, ML & optim of low-latency live trading C++ platform code. Use C++, Python & stat methods to diagnose errors & make improv to tools & platforms used for rsrching algo trading. Conduct rsrch on novel ML techs & stat modeling in trading strats to improve order placement. Mentor Algo Engineers in the des & trblshting of distrib stat ML sys in Python & in hand optim of C++ code. Create distrib high-perf stat analysis features for implem in a hybrid of C++ & Python, & drive adoption of those features across the org. Req's: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Software Eng'g, Comp Sci, Comp Eng'g, or rel field, plus 1 yr of exp in the position offered or as Algo Engineer or related exp. All req'd exp must have included: Exp using C++ & Python to diagnose errors & make improv to distrib tools & platforms. Exp testing, trblshting, & mod'ing SW apps to resolve op issues. Exp with optim of hybrid C++/Python distrib sys. Employer will accept any amt of prof exp with req'd skills. Salary Range: $175k-250k.
