Job Duties/Position Description
- Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect corrections.
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases.
- Web portals testing.
- API and Mobile apps testing.
What Sets You Apart:
In addition to having a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience, the candidate will have proven work experience with 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience with effective problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Expertise in web portals testing with knowledge of software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Liaison with Software and Data Engineering, IT/DevOps, project management, Content Operations, and Customer Success.
- Ability to:
- Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases.
- Understand, create and document test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
- Solve technical problems with operating system, browser, etc.
- Create automated tests using Java on Selenium would be a plus.
Candidates will be asked to successfully complete a test designed to assess their skills and qualifications relevant to the position if selected for advancement in the application process.
