Quality Assurance Calibration Technician

1st Shift; 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (M – F)

RESPONSIBILITY

Calibrates and inspects gaging used throughout product processing. Maintains calibration records on all gaging.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three (3) years related Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
• Knowledge of statistics and industrial practices.
• Ability to work with math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Manual dexterity to properly use various measuring instruments.
• Organized and detail oriented.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred; in lieu of a degree, minimum 3 year’s QA or Calibration experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in Windows based computer programs, Calibration Software and gage tracking system.
