#nowhiring! Belcan is excited to be working with our client in hiring a Purchasing Specialist in St. Louis, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Solicits equipment supplier and contractor quotes
* Creates vendors and contractors lists and prequalifying candidates
* Coordinates bid evaluations and prepares purchase orders (PO)
* Responsible for general liability and worker's compensation insurance forms from vendors and subcontractors
* Assists in preparing monthly client invoices. Assists in preparing project cost summary reports
* Tracks the status of deliverables (approval drawings, fabrication/manufacturing, etc.)
* Schedules and tracks on-site and off-site vendor deliveries
* Coordinates and resolve any nonconforming product; review vendors QA/QC systems in accordance with contractual requirements
* Attends engineering and site procurement meetings
* Verifies documentation and certificates for materials purchased by vendors
* Review suppler quality plans against contract requirements
* Review, monitor and track supplier inspection procedures, material certificates and personnel qualifications
* Participates in supplier audit
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
* BS degree or Associate's degree or related experience. Commensurate experience will be considered.
* Minimum 7+ years' of responsible experience in purchasing or procurement in construction environment.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of Procore, Revizsto and Autodesk experience preferred.
* Familiarity with Budgeting/Forecasting and negotiating.
