Purchasing & Receiving Clerk

LOCATION:  Anchorage, AK

EMPLOYEE STATUS:  Full-Time, permanent, non-exempt

WORK SCHEDULE:  Typically, Mon – Fri 07:30 am to 04:00 pm.  Times may vary depending on company and/or customer needs.  OT may be required.

STARTING SALARY:  $18 - $21 per hour

Some of what you will be doing:

• You will process inventory receiving documents, to include credits.
• You will work with assigned customer accounts for order entry.
• You will coordinate customer orders with our vendor partners.
• You will assist with phones and front office as needed.

Who you are:

• Experienced – You have two (2) years’ purchasing/receiving experience.
• Educated – You possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable – You possess two (2) years’ of working knowledge of accounting for wholesale distribution.
• Reliable – You demonstrate being able to be relied upon in all situations.  You are dependable in character, show sound judgment and exhibit consistent performance with excellent results.

What else you need to know:

• Ability to perform basic math, to include calculations using fractions, percentages, and/or ratios.
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel
• Ability to respond appropriately to constant change in priorities and services as directed.
