Purchasing Coordinator

Our company is seeking a Purchasing Coordinatorfor our manufacturing facility in Clinton, SC.

The principle purpose of this role is to support the day-to-day production and operations by maintaining proper inventory of supplies. In addition to ordering supplies, this position will be responsible for communicating with vendors, cost comparing and receiving all items electronically.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Initiate and maintain inventory cycle counts.
• Make inventory adjustments in M2M based on cycle counts.
• Acquiring/maintaining accurate lead times for supplies.
• Create purchase orders and order supplies for all departments.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes on needed supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills Desired:

• Previous working experience in purchasing department.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to assess lead times related to supply and demand.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite.
• Inventory Experience/Knowledge.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
