We are currently recruiting to fill the role of Materials/Logistics Coordinator in Huger, SC.
The Materials/Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and cost-effective procurement and on-time delivery of tools, equipment and materials necessary for the mechanical maintenance of steel casting equipment. The Coordinator is also responsible for identifying and securing efficient transportation and storage solutions for these products.
Shift: 8AM – 4:30PM
Pay: $45K – $50K Based on Experience
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Conducting all supply chain activities for the Huger, SC location
* Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation
* Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders
* Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
* Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
* Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
* Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers
Required Education/Experience:
* High School diploma/GED required
* 3+ years of experience in logistics or procurement
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Good management and organization skills
* Strong problem-solving skills
