Key Responsibilities:Data Entry:
- Accurately enter and maintain purchasing data in our procurement systems.
- Keep records up-to-date and ensure data integrity.
- Generate purchase orders based on inventory needs and requisitions.
- Verify purchase order accuracy, including item quantities, prices, and delivery details.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with existing vendors.
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status, lead times, and product availability.
- Monitor stock levels and work with the team to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan for efficient inventory replenishment.
- Prepare and maintain reports on purchasing activities.
- Provide insights and data to support procurement decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in business or related field is a plus).
- No-to-low experience in purchasing; training will be provided.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
