Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for providing clerical and administrative support related to the Procurement process.
Plays a critical role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of supplies and equipment based on the needs of the organization.
Monitors stock levels, research vendors, tracks orders, and maintains purchasing records.
Essential Functions
- Maintains records and monitors inventory levels also follows up on files and purchases, shipments, and related matters in Purchasing.
- Advises staff as to appropriate choices of standard items to be purchased for the property.
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Provides shippers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
- Produces memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Conducts market research to identify potential vendors and stay aware of industry market and pricing trends.
- Works with warehouse staff to confirm quality, quantity, and condition of incoming products/materials.
- Creates, updates & purges procurement files, forms & records, according to retention guidelines.
- Participates in special projects and committees for the Casino and Purchasing Department.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
Two years clerical or office administration experience.
One year of purchasing experience preferred.
One year of customer service experience.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to learn and use industry-specific software efficiently.
Certificates & Licenses
Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License
Other Requirements
Knowledge of purchasing, warehousing functions preferred.
