Atlas Staffing is hiring a Purchasing Assistant for a client that provides high quality steel products. If you are looking for growth in your career and wanting to work on some big, exciting projects apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Recieving materials and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Adding material to purchase orders.
- Keeping inventory records accurate and up to date.
- Ordering materials when stock levels are low.
- Updating Material Test Reports
- Managing railcar material in schedule share.
- Assiting with maintenance items and other purchasing tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using inventory management software
- Excellent communication skills
Wage: $23-$25/hr DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
