Purchasing Agent

B & H Tool is a multifaceted manufacturer specializing in the design and production of complex metal products. The company has a fully integrated machine shop with advanced CNC equipment in addition to a metal stamping division with a heavy concentration in the automotive industry. B & H Tool is ISO certified. Our largest customers are predominately world-class, Tier I automotive companies.

B & H Tool has an immediate opening for a Purchasing Agent that will support daily operations. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ability to critically assess suppliers, purchasing terms, and pricing.
• Negotiate contract terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Maintain records of all purchasing transactions.
• Research and evaluate vendors to develop new resources.
• Ensure quality of procured items and address any performance issues.
• Build and maintain positive, long-term supplier relations.
• Assist in the overall organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Business degree
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Demonstrable experience in negotiating pricing and terms.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time appropriately.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
