Purchasing Agent

Full Job Description

We are looking for a Purchasing Agent to help our company grow while enjoying a very flexible schedule, a friendly work environment, and many great benefits!

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Agent

• Maintain strong working relationships with vendors
• Follow up with vendors on shipments and resolve shipment errors if applicable
• Work with team members to resolve delivery & invoicing issues
• Generate and email purchase orders while verifying specifications, price, and lead times
• Process all new jobs and submit each item for approval prior to ordering
• Maintain electronic record of all purchases
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Purchasing Agent

• No experience required, but some is preferred
• Strong customer service, communication and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
• Knowledge of Quickbooks, Google Drive, Outlook, and Microsoft Office is preferred

Pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour
